BLUE MONDAY 5/11/09

I'm joining Sally at Smiling Sally again this week for Blue Monday & wanted to share a couple of pics with you.

I love blue/rust color combinations & this sweet little "fishing" birdie is just the prettiest colors.

PINK SATURDAY 5/9/09

I always do my Pink Saturday posts on Friday evening & this one will have to be a short one because my precious granddaughter is spending the night and we don't have much 'puter time tonight......

A favorite vintage gilt framed mirror of mine above .....

A bunny collar that my daughter wore one Easter over a dress I made for her to match the collar, as it came first ~ it stays on display year-round in the upstairs guest bath. Sweet pink bunny ears!

MY FIRST BLUE MONDAY 5/04/09

For the longest time I have been enjoying Smiling Sal's BLUE Mondays. I really enjoy visiting her blog here & seeing all the pretty blues that everyone shares.

I have been so very inspired by my sweet PRH sister Shirl of Shirl's Rose Cottage & her wonderful Blue Monday posts that I wanted to join in, too, & share my love of BLUE!

PINK SATURDAY 5/02/09

These little bunnies stay out year-round in my upstairs guest bathroom, so I thought I would share them with you today for Pink Saturday.

I cross-stitched both of these pieces back in the late 80's. My daddy made the heart peg shelf for me ~ actually I begged him to make me 4 ~ and he did!




This picture was made in my mother's living room. The lampshade is for sale here on my selling blog, AngelicAccents A la Carte.

So many of you seem to enjoy seeing my antique mirrors, so I will close with my favorite purse bank, cache' pot filled with pink roses, & a diamond beveled oval antique mirror. Check out my others here.
