Featured Friends and Vintage Wedding Pics!

I had prepared the following post quite some time ago and didn't realize that I never hit "publish".....
another one of my duh moments!
I would like to introduce you to one of the sweetest young gals in all of blogland ~
My dear friend Olivia of Olivia's Romantic Home.
She is a lover of all things shabby and chic and romantic and pink and such a caring and genuinely kind person.
I never visit her blog without being in awe of her creativity and lovely home.
And she is always one of the first to visit me and leave comments whenever I post, too!
I just love her and know you will, too!

She had a giveaway recently and drew my name for one of her
beautiful decorated bottles! I love it, Olivia, and wanted you to see that I have placed it on
my antique washstand in our family room for all to see and admire. It is frilly perfection,
and I love it and I love you!!
Everyone needs to go visit sweet Olivia here ~ you will love her blog!

She also gifted me with a beautiful cherub notecard and some sweet tiny paper wedding cake
decorations......and we all know how I am about weddings......

She also included this sweet lil vintage style book

Next, I would like for you to meet a newer friend of mine, Lorene of The Gilded Cherub.
She is a realtor and an interior decorator and it shows! Her attention to detail is amazing. She started blogging in mid November of 2010, so she hasn't been "at it" quite as long as some of us,
but wow, has she got it going on!
She has such beautiful inspirational posts, you really must go take a look!

She had a recent giveaway (actually 3 surprise giveaways) and I was fortunate enough to have
won one of them. She gifted me with this amazing lace and crocheted pillow, and believe me when I say that my pics do not do it justice. It is large and over the top pretty!

She also sent this adorable cream metal napkin holder with the yummiest of
rose printed napkins!

And a pretty satin gift pouch.....

of the best smelling soap ever!

But what really REALLY surprised me......

and touched my heart the most was this......

She knew I am an avid collector of Gone With the Wind memorabilia......
and decided to share one of her dear mother's GWTW Scarlett dolls with me!!
I will forever treasure it Lorene, because it is from you and was once your dear mother's.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

I'm going to try to post a bit more frequently between now and the time for my linky
 Wedding party on June 10th,
so here are a few of my favorite old photos to end my post today.....

~ Hope you can come to the party ~
