PINK SATURDAY 1/31/09
Once again it is time for another fun PINK Saturday post!! Our sweet hostess for this ever-growing event is Beverly of How Sweet the Sound, so please visit her blog here to see all of this week's participants. You will be amazed at all the pretty pinkness out there!!
My daughter & her sweet friend, Angie, a floral designer, made me this pretty arrangement of pink-tipped roses & added a little cherub to it for my birthday. I love it & I love them! The precious little gal in the oval frame is my dear mother when she was about 3 yrs. old. The small etched heart mirror was a gift to me from my sweet friend Amy of Bunny Rose Cottage.

A favorite little pink chintz miniature teapot along side one of my Dave Grossman GONE WITH THE WIND Scarlett figurines ~ hey, Nikki of The Scarlett Rose Garden, we need to do a GWTW post together soon! And by the way, any smudges you see on my mirror are purely a figment of your imagination or a problem with your monitor..... ;0)
The Christmas that my now-DH & I got engaged we were supposed to go to some of the after-Christmas sales together to buy some things for our upcoming new home. Well, I got sick & couldn't go, so soon-to-be DH went alone & he bought me 3 of these little Putz houses, a green, a yellow, & a pink one! Boy, he did good, didn't he? Love how the "smoke" billows out of the chimney & how the roof glistens with snow. I treasure all three & use them each Christmas.
Okay, okay, I KNOW this is a PINK Saturday post, but I've just got to post a couple of pics of the new little man in my life!
I've got it......he's got sweet PINK lips!!

Hi Steph, I had to stop back because I forgot to comment about something on your post today. I was painting my guest room and got to thinking about your little putz house. So sweet of your DH to do that. I had some just like that, Jen said she remembers me getting them and covering them with pink fabrics. I don't know what happened to them. Ed and I shopped for decorations after Christmas too when we were engaged too.
