PINK SATURDAY 9/05/09

Does it get any better than antique mirrors, vintage china, pink damask, and silver?
I don't think so!

Please join our lovely and sweet hostess Beverly of How Sweet the Sound to see more PINK SATURDAY participants!!

Another of my favorite vintage china plates

Our pressed back oak chair that I shabbied up after hubby had REALLY shabbied it up ~ he sat in it and it busted into p-i-e-c-e-s just like Goldilocks sitting in the baby bear's chair when it broke! Now it is good as new again and looks nice with some of my pillows with silk embroidered roses on them.

Oh Stephanie!
Happy Pink Saturday honey. I love the first picture of the mirror with the silver candlestick it looks so elegant. I love the rocker story and ofcourse it does look as good as new. I bet DH won't sit in that chair again. The pillows are so fun and delightful. I would love to see a closer picture of the ribbon accents on the pillows. They are just beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Please stop by, I so love it when you do. Country hugs, Sherry

Hi Steph, Happy Pink Saturday! What a cute post, I just love your pressback rocker in white. I have the same rocker, it's new and I have not had the heart to paint it yet. Maybe I can get Ed to crash mine down to the floor then I can paint mine! LOL Thank you for sharing!

Stephanie,
No, it doesn't get any better than the items you mentioned! Loved the goldilocks story...too funny! Those little pillows sitting on your rocker are adorable. I've recently picked up some old books on silk embroidery and am anxious to give it a try. Those pillows are an inspiration!

Happy Pink Blessings,
Sue

Hello Stephanie, I was an antique dealer for several years and miss it so much. My sisters still sell and their business is Bluebird Antiques out of Atlanta.
I do love your pink post today. Vintage is my passion too.

Have a great Labor Day weekend.

Hey Stephanie,
First thanks for inviting me to join in on your fun Pink Saturday. I have been having so much fun reading lots of pretty pink posts.

Second, thanks for always being so sweet and kind. I love emailing back and forth.

My hubby broke my pretty peach rocking chair years ago the same way. He sat in it...CRACK it fell apart. We fixed it but it was not the same and kept breaking. Oh well, makes a kind of funny memory.

Happy Pink Saturday!!! I love it!!
