I've been going through some old magazines this past week & found this pretty PINK patio furniture on the back cover of a 1987 Country Living magazine.....I told you I'm a packrat!!

I've also been working on a few Christmas surprises & had my pretty pink storage boxes out so I also snapped pics of them.

My ribbon box has mainly pink ribbons (imagine that) in it, so of course I had to take a couple of pics of it for you, too!

One of my most used glitter colors is......PINK! I bought the cute little handpainted bunny shakers from a fellow FFM blogger a couple of months ago.

I sell antique mirrors from Europe here & sometimes when I'm very lucky, I will find something stashed away in all the packings, like this neat old box of PINK matches.

Just a little sneak peek again this week of some of the vintage items I'm offering here at my selling blog Angelic Accents a la Carte.

Now, I'm not selling my sweet little black furball, Muffin......yet! Doesn't he look mischievious here? I'm babysitting my grandpuppies this week & Muffin hops up in the kitchen chair each time I take them outside, then he slaps their bottoms as they come back in!

He has truly gotten his bluff in on Willie, my son-in-law's baby! Willie is a real sweetheart, even if he does like to sleep in my little shih tzu, Rosie's pink toile bed!! Here he is where I caught him on my living room sofa on my new Thanksgiving pillow. MY dogs aren't even allowed on the sofa! I just didn't have the heart to make him hop down, tho. Just look at that adorable, content look on his face!

Here Muffin is using his old pal Daisy, my daughter's dog, as a leap-frog partner! Never a dull moment here, at least not for another week!

Cruisin' into another PINK Saturday!!

One of my daddy's & my favorite cars! He used to have a very similar all white one that I affectionately named "The Ghost", & he loved to tell the story of how I would duck down into the floorboard as he pulled me up to school in it! Hey, what can I say, my daddy never lied, I was 12, & it WAS embarrassing back then!!

Today I would so LOVE to have this in my gameroom! I've already got the neon sundae sign to hang over it!!!

Target.com carries this....what little (or big) princess wouldn't love to have a pink chaise to eat her bon bons on?

Now, back to reality & my bedroom....I so love my framed Rachel Ashwell butter pats.

Since I made that picture I have been lucky enough to purchase the other 2 framed plates that Rachel Ashwell offers. They now hang to each side of the butter pats.

My sweet little Jack Russell Terrier, Sissy, also adores pink ~ just look at her bedspread! This was her winning photo in the HGTV.com "America's Top Ten Most Pampered Pets" contest. You can click the ^above link^ to see even more adorable pets!

Easter is Almost Here!!!!

Easter is Almost Here!!!!Hi Chicks, as my favorite mother hen, Connie of Living Beautifully, calls all of us!!! It is almost EASTER & I should really be downstairs using this contraption called an oven, stuffing it with yummy things to bake for tomorrow's dinner. Instead I snapped a pic of it for my blog.......


I have a nice little collection of porcelain hinged boxes so I purchased this cute little cottage shelf & hung in it my entry way. I change it out with different themed boxes to go along with each season. My granddaughter recently gifted me with my newest pieces for this ~ the dangle legged bunny, the precious bunnies in a hatbox, & the large white bunny with a pink rose on it! All with her very own allowance money!! Boy, she is a girl after my heart!!!!

BTW, the sweet little girl sitting in the pressed back chair on the top shelf is my dear grandmother, taken back in about 1909. Isn't she precious? And the scared to death child sitting atop the HUGE stuffed growling bear is me, circa 1956, at the State Fair of Texas. Now why on earth did my parents make me sit on top of that ugly thing?!?! I know, I know, another wonderful photo op.......see, I come by it naturally!!!

I'm a member of a group called PRH & we recently had an Easter Swap & below are some pics of what I received from my sweet PRH sister, Shirl of Shirl's Rose Cottage. She spoiled me with Linder Truffles (white chocolate ~ yummmm), a precious bunny tote with beautiful roses, netting & other florals, a gorgeous cross-stitch Easter pillow, a silk ribbon embroidery sachet, a lovely handmade card & tag (her very first!! I'm so honored to have received it!), & gifts for my two "girls", our pets.

This is what I sent to Shirl. A Happy Easter card, glittered of course, that said "From one hip chick to another!". A topiary bunny, a framed cross-stitched bunny in a Spring wreath, & a fou-foued pink egg ornament. Oh, mustn't forget the decorated cookie, a little yellow chick popping out of an Easter Egg!


The pink feathers were used in my daughter's wedding decor a few months ago, & the silk roses & ribbon trim & pearls were given to my by my other sweet PRH sis, Rhea of Sweet 'n Shabby Roses. They really helped fou-fou up the bling-y egg in style!!

My girls heard that Shirl even remembered them, so here is Miss Rosie looking for her loot!!
Sissy is a bit more mannerly. She only stands on her hind legs, begging. She would never put a paw on the table!!!
Now Rosie, on the other hand, would crawl right up there if her short little legs would just cooperate. Funny, but when you are blonde & beautiful, you can get away with soooo much more!!

Shirl, thank you so very very much for spoiling me rotten with such lovely goodies. I love you, dear friend! Have a wonderful Easter with your sweet family!

Now I really really must get down to the kitchen & see how to work that oven!!

Baby, It's Cold Outside!

HUGE snowflakes, bigger than cotton balls! You could HEAR them dropping!! And as my sweet friend Celeste says, "Everything is bigger & better in TX!"!! Even our snowflakes!


Sissy, my little Jack Russell Terrier, has a hard time in the snow. She walked into a drift that was up to her sweet little plump belly! Boy, that had to be uncomfortable!
I have to chase Rosie, my little Shih Tzu, around to get her sweater on her. Then I have to chase her around to get it off!!
Please excuse her bad hair day. Her "Daddy" was trying to learn to put it up, so I just left it as was!
Found some neat little items recently at one of my favorite little shops. I've never seen a little candolier this small before. I'm sure it will be "pink" before next Christmas!
Couldn't resist this pretty china salad plate. I just fell in love with the rose swags & crazing!

Wanted to share my new favorite spring birdhouse. It has little garden topiaries painted on all sides. Beside it is one of Laurie's little birdies from Charming Designs.
