Sleigh Bells Ring.....Are You Listenin'?

Sleigh Bells Ring.....Are You Listenin'?
This year I've gone a little crazy adding lights UNDER lots of lacey fabric. Here is a pic of my sofa table with some of my favorite things on it. I collect Santas & bottle brush trees, and angels, & all manner of BLING!
This pic shows just a few of my fav things from some of my fav girls, my PRH sisters. Katie of Rose*Breeze*Boutique made me the bling-y pink & chocolate sachet for my daughter's wedding & it is just too pretty to put away, so out it stays with one of my angels from Lorena & my sequined heart pillow with BLING from Rhea!
Lorena of RoseChicFriends handpainted this awesome PINK Santa & Sleigh & I was lucky enough to purchase it from her! If you are ever fortunate enough to own one of her pieces, you will be THRILLED! She does awesome work! The roses are so beautiful that I can't bear to put anything in the sleigh that might cover them up! Sorry Lorena, I knew you were expecting it full of bling, but I think it is so beautiful as is. Santa is holding a pretty PINK sack with white beads & pearl adornments, too! Doesn't it look like he is on a snowy mountain top?
So.......I decided that I would do the same treatment UNDER our little tree in the family room. I added tons of little white lights underneath a lacey curtain panel & then gathered it all up in ....... a pew bow......yes, a pew bow decorated with one of Bertie's medallions from our daughter's wedding last month! How's that for recycling?!?!?!
A little dimestore felt that shimmers like icicles taped to the base of a shabby white coffee table lift the small 6' tree up off the floor & make a cute place to store packages beneath ~ none of which have been wrapped yet because very few have been purchased so far!
This year besides several new PINK pieces that I'm incorporating into our holiday decorating, I'm really going out on a limb & using a little aqua. I just love it so here is a sneak peak ......
Bling goes with everything, right?

This is how I usually decorate our staircase. Not quite sure if that will get done this year but here is last year's pic

This is a new necklacee that I wore to church Sunday. It is an adorable little Santa Bell....I tinkled everywhere I went! Now that doesn't sound right, does it?!?!
Have to leave you tonight with two of the neatest items. My friend Mary of Oh Merci! made this oh so adorable little pink church! The detailing is wonderful ~ love the words Faith Hope Love beside the church doors, & gotta love that little bottle brush wreath!

My sweet PRH friend Karen of SecondHand Rose made this lovely tag ~ it even says PRH SISTER!! Beautiful graphics, pretty ribbon & just a hint of glitter make for a beautiful remembrance! She has really got a gift for making these altered art tags!!

Now, I must go dust & clean & get ready for Karla's party, What I love about my Holiday Home on Wed., the 12th. I know she says dust won't show & to just shove the mess out of the way but Mother raised me to always CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN before anyone comes over, so off to clean I go! Hope to see you at the party Wednesday!

And don't forget to enter all the comments you want for my birthday giveaway late Saturday night!
Hugs,
Stephanie

More Giveaways and Wedding Pics

More Giveaways and Wedding Pics
The kids are in WA right now & Bree called to tell me that they both have the flu, but that as of tonight it is snowing there & absolutely beautiful! They are getting their white Christmas a little early!! Wish we had some of that pretty stuff here!
Still trying to catch up on all the posts I meant to do the week of the wedding. These items are from my sweet & beautiful PRH sister, Ele of A Bit of Pink Heaven. She makes these adorable accordian pleated wonders with charms, bling & love! Made me one & one for the wedding in the chosen colors of pink/chocolate, too!
Even the back sides are perfect. She dated the wedding one! She also included an adorable small notebook that is embellished perfectly! She is well-known for her yoyo designs & I love it that she added one to the front center of the flower! She even included a present for my granddaughter that made her feel so very special ~ her own "roll up" carry case of crayons! Ele sells these on her Hannah Banana Baby website & I think every kid would love one of these in their stocking this Christmas!

We used this small topiary tree at the wedding reception ~ think I'll use it here at the house this holiday season. My little shih tzu Rosie is all ready for the holidays, too!

My dear sweet friend Amy of Four Sisters in a Cottage had a giveaway a while back & I was one of the lucky winners! Just look at all the wonderful goodies she sent! Love the sheet music, Christmas scene tag, pink beads, & especially love those little Victorian girls! Can't wait to embellish some gifts with these great items!

Amy is having a huge sale at her website so please pop in to visit her there & see if there is something you need! But better hurry, as her items go FAST!!!!

Stephanie

2 Days to Go

2 Days To Go
My sweet friend & PRH Sister Rhea of SweetNShabbyRoses gifted us with this yesterday for the wedding!!

She also sent some adorable Christmas goodies for me that I will post soon! Suffice it to say that if you are needing some GORGEOUS unique gifts this holiday season, Rhea is the "go to" girl!!

She is truly one of the sweetest, most thoughtful, & talented pretty women I've ever met. She sent the kids a beautiful sheer organdy gift pouch decorated with a sweet tiny gold angel, just full of pretties!!

Two of her gorgeous wedding tags, a large chocolate wedding card with such a sweet verse on the back side, 3 adorable vintage tiny wedding cards (hey, these would be awesome in my wedding memorabilia collection, Bree!), & a very pretty mirrored picture frame with chocolate velvet ribbon. She even included a large bag of goodies for last minute fix-ups ~ ivory & white bows with beautiful tiny flowers & pearl sprays & pearl streamers, & several large bunches of dainty flowers. See what I mean about her being such a thoughtful person?

These are from my PRH sister Bertie.
Miss Bertie of Aunt May's Cottage is playing a big part in this wedding! I purchased many of her wonderful handmade medallions to use as pew bow centers, for the backs of chairs, & for holding up lace overlay swags on the cake tables & guest registry. If you are in need of spicing up your life with sumptious Victorian beauty, please check out her wonderful store!

Below are just some of her beautiful creations.I love all the gorgeous lace trim, the sequins, the pearls, the floral sprays! WoW!

This gorgeous tulle pew bow Bertie gifted us with is actually a deep chocolate, don't know why my camera made it look black. It is beautiful & I'm going to use it as the center of the swag over the French doors to the ballroom at the reception!

Here is yet another gift she sent Bree & Anthony!
Glittery handmade heart ornies for the feather tree, an entire dozen of them! & a darling Victorian bridal fan for Bree!

I would love to just bottle up both Rhea & Bertie & zap them here to help with all the decorating. Between Bertie's flair for Victorian & Rhea's great sense of style they would really be a dynamic duo! Colin Cowie, watch out!!

Tomorrow is the rehearsal! Wow, time is flying.

More tomorrow (I hope I hold out!)
Hugs,

Stephanie

4 Days to Go

~ 4 Days to Go ~

Quick post ~ lots of pics, little writing.......

My "bling" shoes for the wedding

MULTIPLE gifts from my adorable PRH sis, Katie at Rose*Breeze*Boutique. She spoiled my daughter & me!!!

Everything Miss Katie does is color co-ordinated to PERFECTION! Charms for the feather tree, scrapbooking fabric & doodads, pretty votive in Bree's colors ~ with BLING in the form of a vintage rhinestone button for me which I adore!

Katie's packaging was so fun to read & such a delight for the eyes & the senses! I'm already using the stress-buster lavender scented pillow. I've teased Katie & told her she should have included at least one extra!!

I am sooo in love with this little sachet pillow ~ the vintage chocolate & rhinestone button is just scrumptious!

Look at this gorgeous VELVET purse that Katie designed for Bree! WoW~she is going to be the best-dressed gal at the rehearsal dinner, too, with this knock out purse!!

Another of my dear PRH sisters, Lorena of RoseChicFriends helped me hunt high & low for the papier mache' intials that we will be using at the reception. (I'll pic those later, too). When she mailed them to us, she was so sweet to include a surprise for Bree & me, so prettily wrapped!
Miss Lorena sent me some beautiful die-cut angels and the most adorable little cherub guest soap! She certainly knows what I love & collect!

Look at the gorgeous handpainted roses heart ornaments she made for the feather tree! Her roses are divine, & I love the pearl hangers!

Even the back sides are yummy! Look at the glitter on top of the chocolate paint!! Bree will be using these on the feather tree & then on their first Christmas tree in just a few weeks!!
This wedding card holder was a pinata wedding cake that I covered in bridal satin, trimmed with Venise lace & gimp, & then added the piece de' resistance . . . . Miss Amy of Bunny Rose Cottage's handmade ROSES add the crowning glory!

It turned out just lovely ~ Thanks, baby sis Amy!

She also sent the pearly "P" initial for Bree (I believe she got these at Michael's, Shann!). She personalized it with one of her special little tags, so sweet!
One of my first PRH friends, Bertie of Aunt May's Cottage is really spoiling us, too. She is a sweetheart who has TONS of unique Victorian items in her shop that are right up my alley, & she definitely is on the same wave length as me in the decorating & collecting department!

She sent us this wonderful vintage wedding book. Just look at the lovely graphics.
I bought some beautiful medallions from her to use at the wedding & reception that are beautiful beyond description. This heart & pearls sachet also came from her shop. Her work is exquisite & the girl is so bad ~ she just overnighted me some MORE goodies for the wedding!! Bertie, you are such a dear! I'll picture them & post again later!
Hugs,
Stephanie

5 Days to Go!

~Goodies for Bree & Anthony's Wedding Feather Tree from my PRH Sisters~

This little tree will be placed at the reception for the guests to enjoy & add to. We are calling it the "Pearls of Wisdom" Tree. Check out the adorable little pink bird sitting on a vase full of pearls from sweet Laurie at Charming Designs!

Guests will be asked to add their own sage advice for a happy marriage on tiny slips of pink paper, then roll them into a scroll, insert a silver wedding band around it, then tie it to the little tree.

Dear Connie from Living Beautifully, our Grand Poobah, (she keeps all us rowdy PRH girls in line) sent these adorable tags for the tree. She offers goodies like this on eBay so please check her items out!

Don't you just love the tiny pearl bubble coming out of the champagne glass?

And oh the details like the frothy hem of the wedding gown!!!

My sweet & oh so multi-talented friend Celeste from La Rea Rose made this precious keepsake box for the couple. Tucked inside were the most adorable bride & groom tags complete with wedding cakes on the flip side! Every square inch of the box is decorated exquisitely. Top, sides, insides!! Pearls, Venise lace, toile paper, cherished sayings, & BLING!! Celeste is just amazing in all that she does. I'll let these pics speak for themselves.

Another sweet PRH sister, Karen of Second Hand Rose sent this pretty toile notecard & some adorable one of a kind tags made from vintage wedding & shower cards. She used the prettiest roses gimp & pearls & glitter. Her creations are divine!

Our sweet baby sis in the PRH group, Amy of Bunny Rose Cottage sent a beautiful little wedding cake candle, a pearl initial for Anthony & Bree & even one for me!! How sweet is that? Her beautiful coffee filter roses that she sells will grace the top of the wedding cake card holder. I'll picture it for you in my next post.

I have lots more pictures to post from more PRH sisters next time!

Hugs,

Stephanie
