Pink Saturday 9/27/08
Beverly of How Sweet the Sound is always our wonderful hostess for PINK SATURDAYS, so after you read my post, please hop over to hers here to see all the other PINK participants today! My precious mother's birthday was this week, so thought I would share a family pic with you ~ the restaurant we ate at had a beautiful PINK parlor, just the perfect place for a BLOG pic!! I think Bertie & Lorena will like the furniture & decor' of this place!!
Mother's cake ~ PINK of course!! And roses because her middle name is ROSE!
I ordered a special something for my mother from my sweet PRH sister Rhea of Sweet N Shabby Roses & she included several extras in the package for lil ol me ~ just perfect for PINK SATURDAY!!
Our dear PRH sister Katie is a new grammy & we had a virtual shower for her & I won a prize in one of the shower games Rhea was hostess for ~ isn't this "Bless Our Nest" just too adorable?!? Rhea puts her heart & soul into everything she makes & she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! She now has a selling blog here & is our hostess for FIRST FRIDAY sales each month, so please check out her beautiful items!!
She always remembers birthdays, holidays, & everyone's likes & collections, so she also sent me this beautiful porcelain china hand with ROSES on it for my little "body parts" collection of hands!! 
Of course it is my new favorite, and nope, Vic, you can't have it!! Vickie has an awesome collection of china hands, too!!
Rhea even included a cross-stitch magazine in my package! I spied some patterns for ROSES, a Santa, & some bunnies that will make wonderful bibs!! And look, on the front is more pretty PINKNESS for today! Thank you, Rhea, so very very much! I love you!
One of my newest little pieces I recently purchased to add to my purse collection.....
And my last piece of PINKNESS for the day, one of my favorite little pin money purses. To the right is a piece I cross-stitched years ago of a bunny, a summer hat, & a pink & green quilt.

I found one of those purses today while I was shopping for $1.99..a steal..its not as pretty as your, its plain and white..but I can find some pretties to put in it I am sure!

You collect pin money purses!!! I love these! I have a very small collection, I think 4 or 5 and haven't found a good place to display them yet in this house. They are in the upstairs hallway on a set of shelves that I want to tear out because they just don't look like they fit there! Love the hand also- so pretty!
You came by my blog a while ago and I was without computer and on a trip- sorry I didn't respond- Ijust found the email notice in my yahoo account again!
