PINK SATURDAY 8/21/09 and a PINK Give Away!

~ Sweet Ballet Slippers Giveaway ~
It is time once again for another fun PINK SATURDAY, so I thought I would show you how I decorate with my daughter's old ballet slippers around the house.

On my dresser in our bedroom

Upstairs in granddaughter's bedroom

Hanging from an antique mirror

Isn't she just tutu cute?!?

She got a lot of use out of this pair & I never had the heart to clean the sweet scuffs off ~ they are just as they were the last time her chubby little feet slipped into them.

Granddaughter's ballerina bear with the brand new pair of pink ballet slippers I will be giving away next Saturday.

All you have to do to enter is just leave me a comment on this post before midnight Friday, August 28th.

Beverly of How Sweet the Sound is our hostess for another fun day of PINKNESS, so please hop over to her blog for a list of participants.....after you see all the fun ways you can decorate with sweet little ballet slippers.
Ballet shadow box

Foufed & glittered ornaments

Even as chandilier decorations for a special little girl's room

Now don't forget to leave me a comment if you would like a chance to win a new pair of ballet slippers of your very own to decorate with. Winner will be announced next week on PINK SATURDAY.

And if by chance you would like to purchase a pair, I have a few for a limited time only on my selling blog, Angelic Accents a la Carte.

Big PINK Saturday Hugs,

Hello, Stephanie,
I don't know of anything sweeter or more romantic that pink ballerina slippers. Thank you for showing the many ways they can be displayed. I think my favorite is that first one displayed so simply but beautifully. And, of course, I love the little bunnies. Thanks for visiting me at Bunny Cottage. I always enjoy it when you stop by. I love how you have displayed these precious slippers.....they remind me always of my days at dance class as a child. I lived in an English village and the school was in a former angora rabbit farm which is now a pub - how about that! It's my favorite place to visit for a good pub meal and a glass of wine when I go home.....I was there in May, lovely!

Happy Pink Saturdy. Enjoy your weekend.

Well, aren't those just adorable? I started my daughter in ballet and she HATED it...it was a struggle every Saturday morning to get her there, so it was easier to just give up. No sense in forcing something on her....she also hated baseball and brownies and everything else I signed her up for. Go figure.

I'd love to win those happy little slippers...please add my name to your hopefuls.

Blessings,
Spencer

What darling ways to decorate with ballet slippers! The chandelier is just too darn cute! I have some of my daughter's old ballet slippers but they are not nearly this clean - very well worn and scuffed! But they are fun to hang by the ribbons and now you've given me new ideas! Thanks!

Happy Pink Saturday!

Stephanie,
I know tht this giveway has passed...but just wanted to say, I love all your ideas on where to display them! And thank you again for your sweet comments on my post :o)

Blessings & Aloha!

(oh, alos, since I feel like I am still a blogging newby...I'd love your opinion... do you keep the "buttons/party info" of the parties that you have been a part of on your sidebar there for a while? Forever? or do you remove them after a bit?

How in the world do you keep up with all the different parties? I did the Beach and the Rooster one both last week! And I did get to all the Beach ones, but I just couldnt get to all the rooster ones! And I used to be able to keep up with every post of every blog I follow on my dashboard...but after last week...I don't think that its possible!

sorry for the long question... :o)
please email me at mgbotelho21@gmail.com (I'd love to hear what you have to say). Also...love ALL your mirrors! gorgeous!
