CHRISTMAS HOME for the HOLIDAYS PARTY 2009

Welcome to our holiday home!

I am so happy to link up with the ever-talented Rhoda of Southern Hospitality today for her Christmas Home for the Holidays party! She is an extraordinary decorator and you are really in for a treat anytime you visit her blog.  Please be sure to visit all her other friends that are participating today!

~Most pictures may be enlarged by clicking~

Someone is watching......

Our Living Room

Both of these Santas were birthday gifts in years past ~ I just love having a December birthday (the 15th) so that I can receive lots of pretty holiday decor from my family!!

You should have seen hubby's face when he saw this guy getting into our car!

I love adding vintage jewelry in with some ornaments in my vintage china compote

Our Family Room

I've had this little pink bottle brush tree since I was a wee tot! And the beautiful silver ornie was made and gifted to me by my dear friend Jen of Jennifer's Petal Palace.

Jen also painted the beautiful pink ornaments with roses on them in the apothecary jar on the right.

I made this little snowman scene ~ check out the little guy on the left making a snow angel!

My precious Daddy made me the beautiful wooden caddy. My sweet friend Celeste painted the Santa for me.

Celeste also made this precious little pink cottage.

Our Dining Room

Our Master Bedroom

My dear friend Bertie of Aunt May's Cottage made the heart sachet holder and sweet Becca of Of Bluebirds and Roses parted with the sweet white Santa because I REALLY needed him!

Bertie also gifted me with this absolutely awesome Santa that matches the fabric in my armoire ~ Laura Ashley's Isabelle fabric.

My little darling Jack Russell Terror Terrier, Sissy, sleeps in her own shabby chic bed (also made by my Daddy) and has her own "Dreaming of a Pink Christmas" pillow from Becca.

The Kitchen

Hallway

I love Bethany Lowe ornaments

Living Room ~ tree still isn't quite ready to show!
The beautiful PINK mitten is from my sweet friend Katie of Rose Breeze Boutique.

I sooo love my reindeer.....

Vintage Pink Lefton Reindeer with Rhinestones

Porcelain Hinged Box Kissing Ball with Roses on it

1950's Plastic Christmas Tree

See, I've still got more decorating to do!

And lest you think all that I have is pink, nooooo.....

I'll be picturing tons of my Santas for the next party!

I'm pooped and hungry after making all these pics, so I'm going to sit a bit at our kitchen table, enjoy some tea and cookies, and then come visit everyone else's homes!
Please stop back here again on the 11th and the 14th when I'll be joining another home tour with Julia over at Hooked on Houses with even more new pics! And please feel free to visit my CHRISTMAS blog here in the meantime!

Beautiful! Everything is so feminine and pretty! I love it! I especially love the 50's plastic tree...my granny had one of the silver metal ones, and an ornament for every branch. I wish that I could find out where that tree ended up because I'd love to have it!

Everything is so beautiful. I just want one of everything in your pink and shabby chic decor. It would all go so nicely in my little girls shabby chic room. Her name is Gabby and I made a sign for her room that says "Shabby Gabby Oh So Chic". She is 2 and our 4 year old called her that for a long time.

I signed up to follow and subscribe.

Oh my Gosh Stephanie...
Sweetie you have the most beautiful home I ever seen. It is exquisite. I love the big window at the front. That is just gorgeous.

I think this should be your pink Saturday post sweetie. You have so much pink this time of year. I have 2 grand daughters that were born in Dec. One on the 21st and the other born on the 25th, yes Christmas Day. It makes it really hard.

I love everything. I could walk around and around for hours, and have to go again just to see it all. I love Santas, and your collection looks so interesting.

I love it that you have even taken Christmas into the bedroom. Looks so romantic.

Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home. I love it when you share. Thanks so much sweetie.

Please stop by and say hi. I love it when you visit.

Country hugs, Sherry
