I am so happy to be participating this week in SILVER SUNDAY hosted by Beth at Gypsy Fish Journal! Please visit her here to see more participants!
I have a mania for beautiful silver and have been lucky to find several very VERY tarnished pieces that needed a new home. I’m very into polishing, hmmm……maybe I was a house servant in a previous life?!?!
Footed pieces, unusual sizes or shapes, and anything with ROSES and fancy scrolls on it will always end up coming home with me to live.
My mania also extends to sterling silver jewelry……
This antique plateau mirror atop my dining room table isn’t silver, but its aged patina is a silver hue and it casts a very pretty silver image. It was a gift from my parents one year for my birthday.
The framed silverware was a gift to my husband and me from my in-laws. My father-in-law gifted an entire set to his new bride over 59 years ago. They had the above pieces framed along with an engraved dated inscription and gave one to each sibling. It is a treasure.
I adore making jewelry and the above picture is some sterling silver bali beads that I use when creating bracelets and necklaces.</p>
I have so enjoyed seeing SILVER SUNDAY participants items for the past several weeks and was very glad that my new computer finally arrived so that I, too, could participate this week!
Hugs,
Stephanie

I love your mirror on the table and the floral silver beads :-). And the story of the silver wares framed I like very much too. It's always nice to hear stories of past and how it is being passed on.
Belated Happy Pink Saturday (Those lamps you have are gorgeous by the way. I like the first one with the baby pink shades)

What a fun silver post...you have got so many pretty silver treasures. That framed silverware is a treasure for sure.
