Those are gorgeous gowns! I love the drop waisted 1920's ones!!! I was a flapper for Halloween one year:)
I love your wedding picture! I'll have to check that site out. And yes, I did know you'd love my cherub tablecloth!!! Mariette left me a comment saying it's Italian or French filet lace and is probably worth a lot...I got it for $15 on Etsy! I also got the cutest little cherub coasters for a few dollars!

I so much enjoyed your post. I haven't seen ditted swiss in years and it looked like one of the gowns had used it. You mentioned handmade bobbin lace. Have you ever seen it made? Some of the historical places in these parts have an older woman who still does the bobbin lace. I am always amazed by it and as a kid when we attended local events and there was a woman making lace I was mesmerized. .and still am. How in the world do they know which way to throw each bobbin? Thanks for the post.
