Show Us Your Roosters Party

The Rooster Party is HERE all you chicks and roosters!! Our lovely hostess for this barnyard event is Barb of Bella Vista so stop by her blog here to see all the other participants!
I can't remember the last time I was so excited about a party.......So......
let's all
SHAKE OUR TAIL FEATHERS
and get this party started!
I'm going to show you the ever growing FOWL of our home, but first, two adorable chandeliers I would one day like to have.

This one is REALLY doing it for me! I think it would look terrific with my pink/green toile kitchen chairs that I re-did!! Click here to see them.

I think this lamp would be great for Barb's home

Now, for my home tour.......

My old German pine cupboard is absolutely full of Rooster/Hen plates, graduated pitchers, and measuring bowls. Atop sits a cannister set and a small wooden rooster pull toy.

I told you I even have mirrors in the kitchen! Hubby, Daddy and I made the silverplated teapot lamp.

Hasn't everyone had one of these salt-dough creations sometime or another?

I forgot I had this Chicken Ranch Saloon Birdhouse. Found it in a box in the utility room. Talk to me just right and I will sell it to you as it is brand new & I just placed it outside to be pictured. It will be listed Friday on my selling blog here.

What a conversation starter!!

I am also selling this pair of rooster/hen prints on my selling blog, too.

I just can't wait to see all the other roosters out in blogland today!
Happy Rooster Hugs & Pecks!

Rhondi's Porch Party 2009 !

Rhondi of Rose Colored Glasses is hostessing a Front Porch Party here! Lots of bloggers are giving their own parties, too, so Rhondi is linking them to her. Please check all of the pretty porches out!

Since I love parties but am knee-deep, okay, NECK deep in cleaning out our storage building today, I'm posting some previously used porch party pics from Rhondi's last party here.

Have fun visiting, & would you mind bringing me a PINK glass of lemonade to the storage building?!?!?!

Rhondi's FRONT PORCH PARTY

Rhondi's FRONT PORCH PARTY
Today a sweet blogger Rhondi of Rose Colored Glasses is hostessing a Front Porch Party here! Lots of bloggers are giving their own parties, too, so Rhondi is linking them to her. Please check all of the pretty porches out!

Since my front porch is teensy, I thought I would invite you to come sit with me out on my back patio.
Our white plantation rockers are still in storage. I love to rock in the evening breeze.
Nothing is better to beat the Texas heat than pretty pink lemonade.

My little Jack Russell Terrier, Sissy, wants to join the party, too!
Daughter made the cake & I must confess I purchased the cookies!

Hmmm, looks like a little rhinestone bumblebee has landed on our pink tray by the lemonade!

DH surprised me with some awesome wrought iron fencing that we have placed around our patio.

I collect birdhouses ~ these are a few of my favorites.

We used this Boston Fern & column in our daughter's wedding. I hope the afternoon sun won't kill it.

My favorite child's wicker chair
My only mosaic piece ~ a gift from my daughter

My sweet friend & PRH sister Vickie of Visuals by Vickie has a mirror in her back yard ~ her entire deck & yard are so awesome ~ you should go look here ~, so I decided to try one of mine out in our backyard, too! Seems only appropriate, as I collect antique mirrors & sell them on eBay here, too!

My dear friend & PRH sister Bertie of Aunt May's Cottage sent me the adorable little leaf wrapped roses arrangement to use in my daughter's wedding.
I won this adorable handpainted sap bucket months ago from my sweet friend Karla of Karla's Cottage! She is one more dynamo ~ I get tired just reading her blog ~ but Wow, she makes sooo many pretty things & never seems to tire. The energizer bunny is coming to mind.....

Stroll with me over to the far right side of the yard

I love to sit & read on this old park bench under the trees, but not when the sun is scorching like it is today! I had to make my pictures early today, but this is a favorite place to sit anytime after five!
Bunny is holding a vintage Golden Book, THE THREE LITTLE PIGS.

She dressed up with her prettiest blingy vintage rhinestone brooch just for our party!
I love to bring my latest Romantic Country or Romantic Homes magazine outside & dream of our next to-do project! These magazines never cease to inspire me!

Well, I kicked off my flip flops to relax for a bit, but I'd better slip them back on & rush on over to the next party! I'd hate to be late!! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
