PINK SATURDAY 8/29/09 and the WINNER IS. . . . .

The first order of business for today is the awarding of my little new pink Capezio ballet slippers. I used the random number generator at www.mathgoodies.com but for the life of me I cannot get it to post here, so I will tell you that I entered the numbers from 1 to 43 and the lucky number was.......30. The 30th comment belongs to none other than the beautiful and talented ........

Miss ELE of A BIT OF PINK HEAVEN!!!!

Ele, congratulations and I hope you do some of your usual extraordinary decorating with these little slippers! They will mail out Monday!!

Now it is once again time for another fun PINK SATURDAY with our sweet hostess Beverly of How Sweet the Sound, so please stop by and visit her and then check out all the PINK participants this week.

Believe it or not, I forgot to show this little rooster yesterday at the ROOSTER PARTY below, so since he is strutting next to my PINK cannisters, I thought it appropriate to show him today.

I got home sooo very late Friday evening, I didn't have time to make more PINK pictures (I was out of town whiling away the hours with my precious grandson & granddaughter!) so I'm sharing some of my favorite pinks from last year below.

My PINKS from my last year's Porch Party

A fun little PINK Dressform Hinged Box

I would like to introduce you to two new friends of mine, one is already a PINK SATURDAY gal and the other one SHOULD be!! Please do yourself a favor and meet these ladies and leave them a comment. You will enjoy your blog visit with both of them as they have lovely things to share!

Madammoiselle Alex ~ this is her first Pink Saturday ~ she lives in Paris & let's just say someone models for her in much pinkness & may give Cindy Crawford a run for her money!

Rebecca at Belle Maison ~ this is a girl after my own heart. We have the same taste in many things, she has beautiful photography on her blog, and she really loves PINK, too ~ hey, Rebecca, come join us next PINK SATURDAY!!!!

I'll be spending the better part of tonight & tomorrow visiting my pink girlfriends & my rooster girlfriends, too! Shoot, who am I kidding? I'll be visiting them all til at least the middle of next week!!! Better go get started!

Big PINK SATURDAY Hugs,

Lovely Pinks for today! I never saw the ones from last year, so I am glad you posted them again so I could see them. The porch party picture is so pinky. Love it!

Hope you have a great PINK Saturday and recoup from your late evening out. Lucky you visiting your grandchildren! I finally get to see my grandddaughter for the second time in her 3 year old life in October. I can't wait. I hope she will understand who we are and allow me to hug and hold her.

YAY ELE!!!! Congratulations sweetie!
Beautiful post Steph, as always! I might have to come in and get myself some of those ballet slippers :)

We bought the beadboard with a vinyl coating at a place called Menard's. I checked Lowe's and Home Depot here for it and they didnt have it. But in a bigger city they might. I was told they had it but when I went to three other towns to check, they didnt. I hope you are able to find some because it is so nice to just be able to wipe it off with a wet cloth :) Good lucky sweetie! I cant wait to see your kitchen finished!

Love ya,
Amy

Hi Stephanie,
Congrats to Ele for winning the sweet ballet slippers. I know she will do some great decorating with them. Love your pink canisters with the white rooster peeking on the side.
The hinged dress is adorable and I will be right over for pink lemonade since you have it already poured. Love that!!
Sweet pic of "A" in the one photo.
She is such a doll.

Hope you are having a good week and looking forward to a long holiday weekend. I think I am going treasure hunting with my DH.
Back in the studio this week and missed it so.
