WEDDING BLOG PARTY 2010

**Link is up until Monday if you or anyone you know would still like to join in on the fun!

I am so excited to be hostessing my first ever blog party, and it has a WEDDING THEME! There are going to be many participants with all sorts of beautiful, fun, creatifve posts, so please be sure to visit them ALL!  AND there is also a pretty giveaway, so be sure to check the bottom of this post for that!

To say I have a slight affinity for wedding memorabilia would be a gross understatement!

I've been captivated and mesmerized by fairytale weddings ever since I was old enough to dress my Barbies in homemade bridal gowns my grandmother made.

The flowers, the gowns, the tiaras and veils, the wedding jewelry, the cakes, all the special pomp involved has always just made my heart happy. In another life, I must have been a wedding planner! :0)
Since June is the traditional month that we often think of brides, and since several of us celebrate anniversaries this month, I thought it would be fun to hostess a WEDDING BLOG PARTY.
Since I've got TONS of pictures to share, I'll keep the chit chat to a minimum.
Enjoy my collection.....

Stephanie, I know I was supposed to join tomorrow, but the doctor's gave me an injection, so I was not able to go to Crowley to get all my things in my small collection. I will be having surgery soon and the shot they gave me is supposed to ease the pain for a couple of weeks, but they said I had to take it easy. Please accept my sincere apology. My EX tried to look for our wedding picture without luck, other wise I would have posted what little I do have here. Hugs, Pat
Your bridal vintage items are to die for and don't even come close to what I have. I had a very small wedding, but dream of having a nice one someday.

Stephanie, thank you so much for having the wedding blog party. Every one I visited had such beautiful things and memories.
Please visit my blog to see the flower girl from McDonalds. She is missing her tag and probably a basket, but I will continue to look for one with everything on it. I have a huge box full of the dolls that I collect for my granddaughter. She has them all lined up on a narrow little shelf. The Wizard of Oz is her favorite. What grannies won't do for their grandchildren. I ate many little burgers for them-lol, but have picked many up at thrift stores and Goodwill. Hugs, Pat

For those who love the sea and aquatic life, there are dazzling dolphins and captivating lighthouses that have accent tables which features their most enchanting details. With the bottlenose dolphin being the most recognized and popular, it's the model used for the majority of available dolphin related items. Because there is a very large selection of fascinating dolphin items from which to choose, to compliment and accent your area or room, all you need is your powerful and unlimited imagination. Just let it go and you'll turn a dull room into a room flowing with the peaceful and serene feelings dolphins bring with them wherever they are. Lighthouses are another very popular collector's item and you can find accent tables sculpted like a lighthouse. It lights up to imitate that beacon of light which has helped many sea captains find their way. As with dolphins, it only takes a little imagination to transform an area or a room into a lighthouse collector's dream.
