A beautiful pink wedding cake
One of our antique mirrors that we offer on ebay here.......my granddaughter calls this style the "Snow White" mirror! I always love for my mirrors to reflect pinkness, as with the Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic perfume bottle & the vintage pink pin money purse.

One of my most recents finds while antique shopping with my mother ~ gotta love PINK roses on vintage china!
Christian LouboutinGee, think my hubby would fall for that "reduced....you save 39%" stuff? Nah, I don't think so either!
Besides, I might feel like Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) in LEGALLY BLONDE if I wore those heels with that purse......

I'm out of town right now, but so happy to be able to use the "scheduled start" feature on the blogger to get my PINK SATURDAY post all set to go! Please visit our lovely hostess Beverly of How Sweet the Sound to visit TONS more pink participants today!!
This is one of my antique mirrors used as a plateau mirror on my dining room table. Full of some of my favorite pinkness, one of my pink porcelain hands, pink pin money purses, pink candle & pink floral heart sachet pillow.
I made the above cross-stitch piece for my dear sweet friend & PRH sister Katie of Rose Breeze Boutique to celebrate her becoming a new grandmother! I think I should make one of these for myself as our new little bundle of joy is due in January!!
Lastly, I'll leave you with my favorite pink picture of all time ~ my porch party held earlier back in the summer.

Well, in our neck of the woods, more rain & **SNOW Showers** are expected within the next 24 hrs!!! SNOW??? I was just wearing a t-shirt today & was warm! And just what ARE snow SHOWERS? I've not heard that term before. Should be 28 degrees here Tuesday. We will have more than snow if it gets that cold! So I thought Bunny with Umbrella highly appropriate for this post! I found the cutest & easiest craft to make with my granddaughter. See pic above. You take a tin vegetable can, paint it white, glue on cotton balls, add wiggle eyes, & black felt ears & feet, black pom pom nose, ribbon bow, & voila! You have an adorable pencil/brush holder! Fun for even very young kids!
This is my very favorite rocker with a pressed back. I shabbied it up & loaded it with some of my fav pillows. The lamp is for Bertie of Aunt May's Cottage (Ms. Victoriana herself!), the silk ribbon embroidery pillows are posted for Katie of Rose Breeze Boutique & Shirl. And nope, I didn't make them, but the above two ladies know how to do this very intricate & beautiful work!!
Hugs til next time!

I have been a bit slow posting as of late, but I've had the fun task of re-decorating our family room! Finally got all the Christmas decorations packed away, & started on the search again for the PERFECT sofa & wing chair. This has been on going for the past year & a half at least........I'm so happy with the end results. Of course, I had to have new valances & pillows, but basically everything else was something that I already had. Just moved things from other rooms ~ "shopped" my own home, which made DH happy! Kind of like one of those entire room makeovers for under $500!! I'll be adding more pics soon, just wanted to give you a quick preview today.
My precious friend & PRH sister, Bertie of Aunt May's Cottage gifted me with some wonderful goodies for my birthday last month & I wanted to share those with you, too. She makes the most beautiful sachets & they are every bit as yummy smelling as they look!! Perfect eye candy!! Full of sequined medallions & dripping with pearls! Run to her website & get one for yourself or for a perfect Valentine's Day gift!
She knows how much I adore Laura Ashley's Isabelle Rose fabric, so L@@K what else she made for me!!!!!!! My very own custom made PINK SANTA!!!! He is all mine (I know this because of his adorable tushy tag that says so!!). He is so gorgeous that I will leave him out year round. He matches the fabric that we lined our armoire with beautifully!!

Plenty of bling & sparkles in all the right places to make me, the BLING QUEEN, blissfully happy!!! Much love & kisses to you, dear Bertie!!!

Don't you just love old mirrored shadow boxes, the kind like from the 60's? They just hold so much stuff!! I sell mirrors all the time on eBay & came across one that I intended to sell, but after cleaning it up, I decided it just had to stay with me. Hubby put up a fight, using arguments like, "It's so big, we don't have a place for it, it doesn't match, we need to sell something this week so we can afford groceries & gasoline, yada yada yada". But I knew after I painted it that I just couldn't let it go. Gee, it had gorgeous ROSES on it that just needed painting to bring out their glory!!! So I tucked it away in the corner of the garage to save for when I could find a place for it. Or did I hide it there from hubby? Oh well, I digress.......
Daughter & granddaughter will soon be moving out, so I plan to re-do daughter's bedroom, & ta dah ~ this will be hung on the wall! Instant decoration!! I've filled it with some of my favorite pieces & am already enjoying it.
I had to post a closeup pic of the detailing on the roses. The frame had been an ugly terra cotta color, just needed shabbying up a bit to fit into our home! I added lots of rose themed items, like the roses votive holder, the little blue pin money purse, some of my hinged boxes that have roses on them, & my little demitasse cup & saucer that matches our wedding china. I've been looking like crazy for more of these ~ the pattern is called "Classic" (I think) by Sheffield. Back of plates have the Sheffield logo & a fleur de lis design, says Fine China Japan Classic 501. If you ever see some of these, please snatch them & let me know. I would love to finish my set ~ only have 4, need 8 more. My in-laws owned a small Affiliated grocery store at the time, & gave us a full set of the "grocery store" giveaway china when we got engaged. You know, Buy $25 of groceries & get the featured item of the week for only $1.00! Something like that. These were available at Affiliated Stores back in 1973-74. Boy, am I showing my age now or what?
Anyway, it was a very special & thoughtful gift & I simply adore using it & decorating with it. So please help me find more of the matching demitasse cups & saucers!!
Hugs,
Stephanie
