A WINTER WONDERLAND

I just THOUGHT that yesterday was pretty.....

Woke up to this pristine beauty this morning......

Can you believe this is TEXAS?!?!

Our area set a new record for snowfall in a single day!

Sweet little birdies huddled in the trees

Look at this beautiful cardinal and how it stands out so gloriously!

Now some animals are definitely more graceful and suited to this wet white stuff than others.....

Our little shih tzu ROSIE is a midget, no legs to speak of. Our son-in-law calls her Swiffer. Well, with that kind of anatomy, a bare belly can get awfully cold and wet!

I don't think I've ever seen her dash around so quickly!!

SNOW TIME IN TEXAS!

Texas doesn't very often get much snow, but we do it up BIG when we do!!

Baby, It's Cold Outside!

HUGE snowflakes, bigger than cotton balls! You could HEAR them dropping!! And as my sweet friend Celeste says, "Everything is bigger & better in TX!"!! Even our snowflakes!


Sissy, my little Jack Russell Terrier, has a hard time in the snow. She walked into a drift that was up to her sweet little plump belly! Boy, that had to be uncomfortable!
I have to chase Rosie, my little Shih Tzu, around to get her sweater on her. Then I have to chase her around to get it off!!
Please excuse her bad hair day. Her "Daddy" was trying to learn to put it up, so I just left it as was!
Found some neat little items recently at one of my favorite little shops. I've never seen a little candolier this small before. I'm sure it will be "pink" before next Christmas!
Couldn't resist this pretty china salad plate. I just fell in love with the rose swags & crazing!

Wanted to share my new favorite spring birdhouse. It has little garden topiaries painted on all sides. Beside it is one of Laurie's little birdies from Charming Designs.

WHAT??? MORE Snow??????????

My grandpuppies, Daisy (Lhasa Poodle mix) & Willie (Jack Russell Terrier), are so sick of this snow! They can't believe that we are supposed to get MORE tomorrow!!! Texas just doesn't usually get this kind of weather! But boy is it pretty. These pics were taken in our driveway & back yard late Monday night/Tues. morning, about 1am.

These were made Tuesday morning as the sun was starting to come up. Yep, I could get used to this as long as it melts in a day!
