My New Pretties!

Please look at some of my newest pretties! You must realize by now that I adore shabby & chic white furniture, all things pink, & roses, so imagine my delight when I ran across this pretty chest of drawers with ALL my favs on it!
Found this at a furniture store in Dallas, & hey, if ONE is good, then TWO are even better, right? Yep, I bought TWO of these, much to my DH's horror!! Plan on eventually doing something else with them, but for right now this one has been placed in our bedroom.

See the appliques, the crystal knobs, the antique ROSES drawer pulls, the intricate beading, the lattice-work background rose florals?!?!?! Now, really girls, how could I resist? And DH couldn't either, as he didn't have to do ONE thing to it!!

Just the perfect spot for some of my favorite goodies, too! Our soon vintage wedding cake topper, my favorite pink tray, & an adorable little pink & blue birds nest from my sweet PRH sister, Shirl of Shirl's Rose Cottage. It is just chock full of pink seam binding bows & ribbons, a pretty pink rhinestone bauble, a grungy Rose tag, snippets of sheet music, & two robin's egg blue sugared eggs nestled among sweet florals & feathers! Lucky would be the bird that got to roost here! If you love this as much as I do, run over to Shirl's etsy & eBay auctions for some wonderful treats!
My dear as a sis sweet friend Celeste of La Rea Rose handpainted this gorgeous blue tray. Don't you just adore the roses on it? She is one very talented lady, so check out her etsy & eBay shop, too! I think I have something of hers in almost every room of my house now!! I placed one of my favorite little cherubs, two porcelain roses, & a vintage pink kitty cat baby cup nearby. Celeste's tray matches my roses perfectly!!

I also really like how the old quilt that my DH surprised me with goes so wonderfully with all my newer pretties!
These new purchases have prompted a total re-do & thorough cleaning of our master bedroom, so I must get back to the dreaded chore of vacuuming now. Til next time, hope you have as much fun feathering your nest as I'm having with mine!!
